Stewards will be waiting to direct you to the Registration Desks. Please have your tickets ready for inspection.

Tickets

In exceptional circumstances, if you have made prior arrangements to collect your tickets on the day of your Ceremony, these will be made available at the venue from the Information/Ticket Desk located just inside the main reception of the Stadium. Tickets will only be available for collection on the day by prior arrangement.

Please do not arrive for your ceremony expecting to obtain guest tickets that have not already been reserved for you.

Please remember neither you nor your guests will gain entry to the venue without your allocated tickets. Please note that due to health and safety regulations guest tickets are not available for babies and children under 6 years of age. Babies and children under 6 years of age will not be permitted to enter Twickenham Stadium. Please also note that crèche facilities are not available and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Registration

On arrival at the venue you will be directed to the “Graduand Registration Desks”. You will be issued with a name card and seat number. You will not be seated with your guests including children, as seats have been allocated in alphabetical order with your fellow graduands on your programme of study. This is the order you will be called onto the platform. It is important that you sit in your allocated seat to ensure that the ceremony operates effectively.

Academic dress

Once you have registered and been given your name card and seat number you should collect your academic dress. Ede & Ravenscroft, the robe hire company, will be on site two hours before your ceremony is due to commence. Pre-ordered robes will be ready for you to collect at the University on production of your receipt that was issued to you when you placed your order.

Photography

Ede & Ravenscroft official graduation photographers will be on site two hours before your ceremony is due to commence. Graduands wishing to have official photographs taken should go to the photography area as directed by University stewards. If you ordered and paid for official photographs in advance please remember to bring the receipt you were issued with when you placed your order.

Please remember neither students or guests will gain entry to the venue without an allocated ticket. Please note that due to health and safety regulations guest tickets are not available for babies and children under 6 years of age and will not be permitted entry into Twickenham Stadium. Please also note that crèche facilities are not available and all children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
